Google has brought support for its YouTube VR service to popular digital game distribution platform- Steam-and it is now available as an Early Access release for HTC's Vive VR headset.
However, YouTube VR's debut on Steam has not been a smooth release as early impressions of the 360-degree video streaming service state that frame drops are commonplace despite fairly powerful PC set-ups.
Moreover, some users have reported that the app simply refuses to function properly and crashes on start-up, but a member of the developers' team has responded to the issue and has promised to look into the bug.
